All the songs were in sync with the story and so there was no need to hit the fast forward button. The Mangaalayam song and Thumbi Penne are my personal favorites. The best part about the editing was that nothing was out of place.Įven though i am not a malayalee, the music of the film is really good.

Even though the movie is 3 hours long, there is no single scene where you get bored. Editing a movie like this is very difficult however the editor managed to interconnect various stories into one brilliant film. The cinematography helped take the film to another level as well. The way Bangalore was shown was amazing in this film. The Cinematography by Samir Tahir is really good as he perfectly captured the mood of the film. The rest of the cast like Nithya Menon, Isha Talwar all do a decent job in the film. He dominated every single scene he was in. This man is just amazing and it never really felt he like acted. However the real show stealer was Fahaad Fasil. His scenes with his mother, the flight episode, scenes where he talks about tradition all bring the house down. Amoung the three main characters, I loved Nivin Pauly role as Kuttan the best. Nazriya Nazim looks cute and gives a good performance as well as Divya. He did awesome in the climax bike race scene. Dulquer Salmaan is perfect in the role of guy who is yet to find himself.

One of the biggest plus points for this film are the performances of this huge star cast. The film is all about the moments and emotions in this very simple story about three buddies: Divya, Arjun, and Kuttan. What makes the malayalam movie really special for me is that it avoids the common heroism that I always see in loud and obnoxious telugu films and stays simple and intact with reality. These are based on the movies I saw this year. I have not watched all the notable movies of 2014. The dialogues are well-written and pack a punch. The screenplay to an extent is pretty good as you don't get bored or disengaged for the most part. I have to say this is top class cinematography for a telugu film. The camerawork by Nizar Shafi is another plus as the light blue visuals give the film a refreshing feel. Another thing that helps this movie is the solid musical score and bgm. The rest of the cast did a great job and some actors get some entertaining bits as well. He has probably one of the best comedy timings for a hero in the telugu film industry.The heroine does good in the role of Nandana. Nani is rocking in the role of Lucky and does a great job. If there's any reason you should watch the movie, it's because of the comedy. It's his characterization that causes the most hilarious scenes in this film.From the word Go, this movie is one hilarious ride and it always tries to entertain in one way or another. The biggest positive point of this film is the characterization of Lucky.
